Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are a contract between you and JGMN Pvt LTD (“JUGNU”, “we”, “us”) for the JUGNU website, artist dashboard, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, buying a plan, uploading music, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use JUGNU for a band, label, or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them, and “you” includes that artist or organization.

JUGNU gives artists a place to upload audio and artwork, organize tracks into releases, and manage that catalog. Eligible plans may also include distribution to digital services, society registration, and the artist-development benefits described on the pricing page. What you receive depends on the plan that is active on your account.

We may change, add, or retire features. We will not take away a paid benefit you have already purchased during its paid period except where these terms allow us to suspend or end access.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. We may refuse a registration, or close an account, that uses false details or that we reasonably believe is being used to break these terms or the law.

Sign-in is provided through Clerk. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

An account is for you. Do not share it in a way that lets someone else control your catalog or purchases, unless we have agreed in writing that an organization may operate one account for its artists.

Plan names, prices, and included benefits are shown on the pricing page at the time you pay. Prices are in Indian rupees unless the checkout says otherwise. Dreamershood is a one-time lifetime membership. Pro and Star are paid subscriptions for the billing period you select. Taxes that apply are added as the law requires.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. You authorize us and Razorpay to charge the payment method you use for the plan you choose. If a payment fails, we may limit access until it succeeds. A subscription stays active for the period you paid for. When that period ends, a short grace period may apply before access stops. Lifetime membership does not expire merely because time has passed.

Fees are charged for the access and services described at checkout. How to stop a renewal is in the Cancellation Policy. When a fee can be returned is in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be waived, including any statutory cancellation right that applies to your purchase.

You keep ownership of your masters and other material you upload. You grant JUGNU a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, encode, adapt for technical delivery, publicly play inside the Service, display, and transmit that material so we can operate JUGNU and deliver releases to the stores and services you ask us to use.

This license lasts while the material is on JUGNU, and for a reasonable time afterward so stores can finish a takedown and so we can keep backups and records we are required to hold. It is not a transfer of your copyright, and it is not an assignment of your master.

Some releases require you to accept an undertaking or sign a release contract before we proceed. That document applies to the release it covers, together with these terms.

For everything you upload or ask us to distribute, you confirm that:

• You own or control the rights needed for us to use it as described in these terms, including the sound recording, composition, artwork, name, and likeness involved.
• Contributor credits, titles, and other metadata are accurate and not misleading.
• Samples, covers, features, and beats are cleared, and you are responsible for paying collaborators, writers, producers, and publishers what they are owed.
• The material does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or any other right, and does not break applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have rights to distribute.
• Break the law, or harass, defame, or harm another person.
• Attempt to access another person’s account, our systems, or data you are not allowed to see.
• Probe, scrape, or disrupt the Service, or upload malware.
• Use bots or other manipulation to inflate streams, follows, or engagement.
• Mislabel a release, impersonate another artist, or submit false credits.

We may review a release before it goes forward and may refuse, hold, or remove a release that fails a rights, quality, metadata, or policy check. Digital services apply their own rules and can reject or take down a release for reasons outside our control.

We do not guarantee that a store will accept your music, that it will be playlisted, or that it will earn any particular amount. Timing depends on review and on each store.

The JUGNU name, logo, website, and software belong to JGMN Pvt LTD or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable right to use the Service for your own artist activity while these terms are in force. You may not copy the product, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use our branding in a way that suggests a partnership we have not agreed to.

You may stop using JUGNU at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if you break these terms, a payment fails and is not resolved, we reasonably suspect fraud or infringement, or we must do so to comply with law. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you the reason.

Ending access does not by itself transfer or cancel rights in music already delivered, except that we may ask stores to take a release down when these terms, a release contract, or the law requires it.

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep JUGNU running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every release will be accepted by every store. Mandatory rights under Indian law still apply.

To the extent Indian law allows, JGMN Pvt LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost streams. Our total liability arising out of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to JUGNU for the Service in that period.

This limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

If a third party brings a claim against us because of your content, your metadata, or your breach of these terms, you will cover the resulting losses, damages, and reasonable legal costs, except to the extent the claim is caused by our own breach or negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in India that have jurisdiction over JGMN Pvt LTD may hear disputes arising out of them, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim in another forum where consumer law says you may.

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do, and the new version will be posted on this page. If you keep using JUGNU after the update, you agree to the revised terms to the extent the law allows. A change does not retroactively alter a release contract you have already signed, unless that contract says otherwise.
